A standout opportunity for a Multi Skilled Mechanical Engineer to work for an in house maintenance team for a commercial property by Kings Cross, London. Working on a 36 hour week, Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical and HVAC associated systems along with remedial works and emergency response on site. This role is not your mundane PPM position, requiring engineers to be highly technical with the ability to fault find, diagnose and repair mechanical and HVAC associated systems in house.
The Multi Skilled Engineer should hold Mechanical City and Guilds / NVQ qualifications or equivalent holding a good all round building services maintenance knowledge.
Duties
PPMs & Reactive maintenance
AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Air Conditioning, Chillers, Boilers, Sprinkler Systems, Chlorifiers, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, Plumbing, Generators, Statutory Compliance, BMS Operation
Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
Organising subcontractors
Completing logbooks and RAMS
Reports
Permits to work
Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
Requirements
City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical Engineering or comparable qualification
Ability to fault find, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and HVAC associated systems
Building Services Maintenance experience
