Financial Leadership & Team Management Supervise day-to-day accounting operations for a small, high-performing finance team Provide hands-on training, coaching and development to junior team members to ensure competency and progression Oversee workload planning, process efficiency and continuous improvement within the finance function Management Accounting & Reporting Review monthly management accounts for multiple entities within the Group and prepare the full board pack Lead and coordinate monthly Board Meetings, including preparation of financial reporting, KPI analysis, variance explanation, and Board documentation Coordinate and prepare monthly reporting packs for senior stakeholders Budgeting, Forecasting & Cashflow Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts Maintain and monitor short- and long-term cashflow forecasts, ensuring appropriate working capital management Audit, Compliance & Regulation Oversee the annual audit process for the Group, liaising with audit partners to ensure timely completion and adherence to audit standards Review final audited financial statements Liaise with external tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns in NI & ROI Maintain compliance with all statutory, financial and franchise-specific requirements Stock, Funding & Operational Finance Primary responsibility for stock control for all franchises within the Group, ensuring accurate valuation, reconciliation, and reporting Act as the key point of contact for all stocking loan providers, including funding partners, floorplan finance companies, and manufacturer finance programmes Manage the drawdown, settlement and auditing of stock funding lines Oversee VAT treatment, margin schemes, imports/exports (including ROI/EUUK complexities), and cross-border transactions Banking & External Stakeholder Relationships Manage relationships with banks, finance partners, auditors, tax advisors, and external consultants Ensure appropriate financial controls, covenants monitoring and funding compliance Review and approve payment runs and supplier reconciliations Systems, Processes & Internal Controls Oversee financial systems development and maintenance (e.g., dealer management system, stock systems, accounting software) Develop, document and enforce internal controls and financial processes Ensure accuracy, integrity and security of financial data across all platforms Drive automation and efficiency initiatives to reduce manual workload within the finance team Cross-Departmental & Strategic Responsibilities Work closely with Sales, Operations and Logistics to ensure stock accuracy, margin protection and correct financial input Provide financial modelling to support strategic decisions, pricing, international sales and new business opportunities Lead financial risk management across the Group About You Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) Experience in ROI tax and compliance beneficial Proven experience in management reporting, budgeting, financial control and audit management Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities Experience with stock-based or dealership industries (automotive, motorhomes, retail, machinery) desirable Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders Benefits: bonus and benefits
