Job Overview
, Manchester City Centre Based.
£20.50 per hour, weekly pay.
Immediate start, with strong view to permanent.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and maintain multiple building sites across Manchester, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance are met.
2. Manage and supervise on-site facilities teams, including technicians, cleaners, and contractors.
3. Coordinate and manage service contracts and budgets.
4. Monitor building systems and coordinate repairs or upgrades as needed.
5. Conduct regular site inspections and address maintenance issues proactively.
6. Ensure buildings are compliant with all relevant local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
7. Respond to emergency situations quickly and effectively.
8. Manage and track budgets for maintenance and repair works, ensuring cost control and efficient spending.
Desirables
9. Minimum 2 years proven experience in facilities management or a similar role, managing multiple sites.
10. Background in managing teams – one to ones, yearly appraisals, continuous staff training and development etc.
11. NEBOSH
12. A strong self-starter, with great initiative, able to confidently lead at senior level.
13. Full, clean driving license is required for travel between multiple building sites.
