Responsibilities
* Maximise efficiency and utilisation of available plant hours, incorporating planned maintenance cycles
* Lead material demand planning and stock control activities
* Own and develop capacity planning capabilities across the organisation
* Ensure full integration of capacity planning within ERP/MRP systems
* Drive capacity planning activities to meet operational requirements while optimising manufacturing efficiency and cost
* Continuously refine systems and planning methods to better anticipate customer needs and support tender and PCAF stages
* Manage and mitigate deviations from plan, particularly those with financial impact
* Monitor manufacturing processes and data to identify capacity constraints, trends, and improvement opportunities
Qualifications
* A degree in Engineering or Business (preferred), or equivalent qualifications such as Six Sigma or Lean
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present reports and insights clearly
* Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
* A self‑motivated approach, with the ability to deliver accurate work to tight deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
