The Purpose Of The Role As our Assistant Supplier Relationship Manager, you'll lead strategic supplier partnerships within a fast-paced, growth-driven environment, using your commercial acumen and collaborative mindset to unlock new opportunities. Your success will be measured by your ability to influence stakeholders, drive incremental revenue, and position Holland & Barrett as the partner of choice for key global brands Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic supplier partnerships program for your category, driving growth and delivering investment targets. Support the Category Director and teams in shaping and executing the overarching supplier strategy and vision for the category. With the support of the Performance Manager, review segmentation data and insights to recommend strategic supplier management approaches to Category teams. Act as the primary cross-functional liaison, ensuring alignment between internal teams and suppliers to deliver pre-agreed strategic growth initiatives. Collaborate with Category teams to identify and recommend business acceleration and investment growth opportunities with key suppliers. Contribute to the development of the supplier rate card for your category, ensuring a dynamic and scalable approach tailored to category needs. Work with the wider Strategic Supplier Partnership Team to identify and develop new income streams for strategic partners through cross-functional collaboration, with the ambition to deliver mutual benefit. Facilitate new supplier launch plans, collaborating with suppliers and category teams to develop and execute 360° campaign strategies. Oversee supplier campaign execution, including content approvals, activation planning, critical path management and implementation. Alongside the Supplier Partnership Performance Manager, conduct post-implementation reviews (PIRs), evaluating campaign performance and ROI, and presenting insights to Category teams. Partner with the Supplier Partnership Performance Manager to oversee category funding tracking and reporting, ensuring budget alignment. Support Category teams in identifying risk mitigation strategies. Support supplier communications through newsletters, centralized emails, and other engagement channels. Plan and execute key supplier events, including Forums, Webinars, and Expos Assist The Supplier Onboarding Co-Ordinator and Category teams to onboarding new suppliers, providing query resolution, supporting supplier journey etc Assist the Supplier Management Administrator in monitoring the central Supplier Mailbox, providing support during peak periods and covering in their absence Location: This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to other locations of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office Key Requirements Proven success in supplier management and acceleration within a retail or commercial setting. Strong influencing skills, particularly with senior stakeholders. Experience in supplier trading, negotiation, and performance acceleration/optimisation across a multi-channel retailer. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to model, forecast/budget and assess P&L impacts. A motivated self-starter, able to ‘think BIG' to identify and unlock incremental opportunities for growth Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects and priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting to internal teams and external partners. Experience in using data and technology to drive supplier performance improvements. Analytical mindset, with experience in supplier data management and reporting is preferable.
