Job Description
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking to recruit a full-time Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the senior team (CEO and Directors) and coordinate the efficient and effective support of strategic business planning and change programmes, meetings and communications.

As Executive Assistant you will support the senior team with internal and external meetings including preparation, administration, recording and follow-up. You will coordinate the flow of communications to and from the senior team, support stakeholder and contact management. You will also assist the senior team across the range of their work which may include drafting information, research, diary management, organising events, travel arrangements, and reconciling expenses. You will work closely with the Governance Assistant in supporting the Board of Trustees, its Committees, consultative Council and independent trading company, and ensure that Board reporting expectations are met.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience of supporting a busy Executive team, and proven administrative, secretarial, IT and planning abilities. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and independently. You will have good attention to detail, be methodical, organised, calm under pressure and keen to ‘make things happen’.
The closing date for applications is Thursday 4 April 2024, first stage interviews will take place on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 April 2024 and final interviews will take place on Tuesday 23 April 2024.
