Job Description We are seeking a capable and experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a busy and skilled team. In this hands-on role, you will be producing precision components for pump systems using CNC milling and turning machines. The CNC Setter / Operator will operate within a one-piece flow environment, setting up and running multiple machines. You'll use measurement tools such as micrometres and callipers to ensure tolerances are maintained to within 0.01mm, making adjustments when necessary. Training is available for Fanuc controls, and the role includes working with both castings and bar stock across varied batch sizes. Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, logging production/quality data, performing basic maintenance, and contributing to process improvements. The CNC Setter / Operator will be an integral part of a team where quality and consistency are key. Skills & Experience Essential: * Proven experience as a CNC Setter / Operator in a manufacturing setting * Proficient with standard measuring tools (micrometres, plug gauges, etc.) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (metric and imperial) * Strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality * Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience Desirable: * Experience with Fanuc systems * CMM operation skills * Programming ability Why Should You Apply?
