This role will be within our Distribution and Connections division. As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) in the UK, we support distribution network operations across infrastructure. Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers. carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement. What youll be doing You dont need to come in as an expert - well teach you. Your role will include: Supporting the team in pulling together accurate project estimates. Joining site visits to learn how different sites work and what each project needs. Helping break down tasks, materials, and resource requirements. Assisting with preparing quotations and bid documents. Speaking with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing. Attending tender review meetings and site sessions with the team. Supporting handovers to the delivery team so projects start smoothly. Keeping records and documents up to date. Youll report to the Estimating Manager, and youll also have a Mentor who will guide you day-to-day as you build your confidence and skills. What youll bring? You dont need loads of experience - just the right attitude: Degree-level education (or equivalent). Comfortable using Microsoft Office. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others. Self-motivated and able to manage your time. Full driving licence (youll join the team on site visits).
