Placement Officer, Sutton The Placement Coordinator will be expected to: Support the Accommodation Based Care Commissioning Team and Adult Social Care Heads of Service in all aspects of the spot purchasing of accommodation based care and support services for individuals with a learning disability or mental health needs. Identify and source placement options and negotiate costs where required ensuring best value for the Council. Such negotiations will be guided and supported by strategic commissioning ASC budgetary requirements. Work collaboratively with ICB commissioners as appropriate in the sourcing and negotiation of placements, particularly in respect of joint placements under S117 MHA. Attend operational Consistent Practice Meetings and S117 funding panels as required. Carry out independent and low-risk assessments to identify customer needs.
