and Responsibilities
Test & or Inspect & record manufactured or repaired product to internal or external test specifications to a high degree of accuracy with the aid of ATE, or long hand test equipment.
This role is for 39 hours over 4 days - Monday to Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
1. Test & or Inspect product in a timely manner in line with expected costed time restraints.
2. Complete Test or Inspection tasks within a Quality Accredited environment, in accordance with both General Manufacturing and Aerospace controls.
3. The role requires a zero tolerance to defects.
4. Proactive outlook on an improvements culture with a view of continuous improvement.
5. Work within a zero harm culture.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Core Requirements
6. Proven track record of Safety and working as a willing, competent member of a team.
7. Willingness to undertake annual Eye Examination & colour blindness checks.
8. Flexible in approach, with willingness to learn new skills.
9. Undertake learning programmes such as IPC 610/620 ISO quality controls as necessary.
10. Close attention to detail, in terms of adhering accurately to internal specifications/test programmes and or customer specifications/drawings test specs.
11. Ability to work in an orderly manner and organised in a 6S environment.
12. Zero defects right first-time attitude.
13. Able to work to required Key Point Indicators (KPI) with respect to quality of work, performance & output.
14. Identifying & raising problems to the team (immediate/Wider).
15. Working closely with the immediate/wider team to support OTTP delivery within a Zero Defects culture.
16. Highlighting quality issues where required.
17. Travel may be required to support business needs.
