Dynamics 365 Developer (Contract)
Location: Solihull, UK (2-3 days working from office weekly)

Key Purpose
* Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, primarily within the Customer Service, Marketing, and Sales modules.
* Translate business requirements into technical solutions that enhance business processes.
* Support a product‑based organisation with an agile delivery methodology and contribute to continuous improvement of team capability.
* Demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills through constant interaction with cross‑functional teams.
Structure and Reporting Relationship
* Reports to the Complex Case Management Team DevOps Lead.
* Collaborates closely with IT teams, partners/3rd parties, operational teams, and service management.
Key Accountabilities
* Agile Practices: Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
* Solution Design and Development: Lead the design and development of custom solutions within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
* System Integration: Integrate Dynamics 365 with other systems to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
* Customization and Configuration: Configure Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications to meet specific business requirements.
* Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
* Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues and provide ongoing maintenance within the Serco ITIL IT Service Management function.
* Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development and integration activities.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
* Capability Development: Contribute to the growth of the Serco Complex Case Management team capability.
* Serco Management System: Adhere to and lead by example the policies and principles of the Serco Management System.
* Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve internal processes, capability, and service delivery for implemented M365 solutions.
Essential Technical and Professional Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform development and customisation.
* Technical Skills:
o Omnichannel & CoPilot Studio for Customer Service – configuring and optimising Omnichannel, CoPilot Studio, live chat, voice, and digital messaging channels.
o Power Platform Development – proficient with Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven), Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, and CoPilot.
o Dataverse Management – architecture, governance, security, performance tuning, and data modelling.
o Azure Integration – configuring and optimising Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Key Vault.
o DevOps & CI/CD – principles of Agile working using Azure DevOps, solution lifecycle management, automated deployments, and environment consistency.
o XRM Toolbox – solution management, metadata analysis, and system administration tasks.
* Security Clearance: Requirement to hold or obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
