The role of this position is to be a support to the dedicated Regional Operations Manager and to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the cleaning requirements as per our contracted terms. This role will involve supervising, planning, and coordinating the cleaning operations across multiple sites within the assigned region. This includes staff management, being the primary point of contact for each team leader, planning seasonal staffing levels, and ensuring high-quality cleaning services. The person in this role also carries out responsibilities such as ensuring health and safety guidelines are met, maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring high quality of cleaning is carried out by staff daily.
Duties
· Plan staffing levels on a seasonal basis alongside the team leader/s
· Clean public facilities to cover absence/annual leave to ensure smooth operations continually
· Be the primary contact for day-to-day issues for team leader/s for each contract with support from the Regional Operations Manager.
· Client Inspections and the accumulation of Performance Indicator Information
· Managing Cleaning Operatives and Team Leaders on a day-to-day basis to deliver a high-quality service in line with company standards and contractual commitments.
· Prepare and implement monthly work rotas for all Cleaning Staff.
· Record and report all cleaning staff sickness and carry out Back to Work interviews as and when required.
· Inspect cleaning standards at all sites and prepare and where required supervise deep cleaning schedules for all sites on a periodic basis.
· Carry out and monitor Building Inspections and undertake Joint Inspections with Cleaning &/or Maintenance Supervisors as appropriate.
· To carry out weekly/monthly vehicle Inspections and ensuring reporting of mileage, damage or issues to the Regional Operations Manager.
· Carry out on the job training of all cleaning personnel on all aspects of Remote Monitoring and identify and promote learning opportunities for cleaning staff.
Education, Driver's License, and Language Proficiency
. Valid UK driving license: The candidate must possess a valid UK driving license to fulfil the driving responsibilities associated with this role.
· Clean driving record: A clean driving record is preferred, demonstrating responsible and safe driving habits.
· Native or bilingual proficiency in English: The candidate must be able to communicate fluently and effectively in English, both in written and spoken forms.
· Be able to supply information and prepare basic reports.

· Be able to identify technical problems and relate them to maintenance staff.
· Ability to carry out disciplinary procedures.
· Have basic IT skills (training will be provided if required)
