Responsibilities
* Perform major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles or light commercial vehicles, as part of your role as a Commercial Vehicle Technician
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
* Diagnose faults and collaborate with the repair team to deliver efficient solutions
* Maintain workshop stock and ensure a clean, safe working environment
* Document all repair activities using industry-standard systems such as Keyloop or Kerridge
* Manage warranty claims, escalating issues when necessary
* Carry out wheel alignments and tyre replacements
* Complete customer documentation accurately and within designated timeframes
* Contribute to a safe and productive workshop environment
Requirements
* Fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 certification or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
* Ideally, 1-2 years’ practical experience in a similar Commercial Vehicle Technician role
* A proactive team player with a professional attitude and attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop setting and produce high-quality work
* Motivated to achieve targets and contribute positively to the team
* Hold an HGV driving licence is desirable but not essential
