Apex Resources is currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our clients dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience operating press brake machinery to fabricate and assemble sheet metal components. This role plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality products while upholding safety standards and efficiency targets.
Responsibilities
* Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to detailed specifications.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for accurate component fabrication.
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines and tooling to ensure peak performance.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production issues and enhance workflow efficiency.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to effectively operate a variety of fabrication machinery.
* Familiarity with sheet metal processes, fabrication techniques, and tooling setup.
* Proficient in basic mathematics for precise measurements and material calculations.
* Comfortable and safe working with hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
* High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
