Overview
As an Assistant Manager at Boots Opticians you will lead and inspire your team to deliver an exemplary customer journey. You will work closely with the Store Manager to create and deliver the commercial plan to help the business grow and evolve.
Responsibilities
* Work across the whole store, involved in customer service, store operations and clinical activities including patient pre-screening, dispensing, accuracy checks and more.
* Manage a team with varied experience and clinical knowledge, helping develop their knowledge, skills and future careers.
* Complete management tasks such as creating and maintaining rotas, return to work reviews and performance management.
* Participate in Boots Opticians training programmes such as the Step into Optics and leadership programmes to develop clinical knowledge and leadership capabilities.
What you’ll need to have
* Experience working in a customer facing role
* Desire to learn
* Led or coached a team
It would be great if you also have
* Experience working in a clinical environment
