About the Role You'll be embedded within a small, specialised engineering support team, providing technical guidance to the production and machining teams. The focus is on manufacturing process improvement—not hands-on machining. Key responsibilities: Analyse CNC machining processes to identify opportunities for cost, time, and quality improvements Support tooling selection, workholding, and process design Collaborate with on-site production teams to implement enhancements Provide technical advice on manufacturing methods and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Background in Manufacturing Engineering or CNC machining Experience in aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, marine, or another high-precision manufacturing environment Comfortable operating in an advisory, engineering-led role rather than hands-on production Strong understanding of CNC processes and process optimisation This could suit a mid-level Manufacturing Engineer, or a skilled CNC Machinist or Programmer looking to transition into a more technical, process-focused role.
