Job Description:
Main Responsibilities:
An office-based role within the machine shop, you will be responsible for:
* Ordering of materials and consumables with existing and new suppliers.
* Creating and allocating job cards
* Supplier progression.
* Streamlining processes.
* Production planning and manufacturing-time estimating with assistance from the Production Manager
* General administration
* Collating timesheets for payroll.
* Sub-contracting when overcapacity.
* Managing External finishing processes.
* Prioritising work, and replanning when unexpected work is required.
* Shift Management.
* Department currently runs two (2) shifts.
Required skills:
* A good understanding of a Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
* A good understanding of Engineering drawings and material knowledge is a must.
* Ideally have experience of a CNC machining environment.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Willingness to implement own ideas.
* Inspection and Quality Management.
* Following internal NVR Procedure
* Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
* Willingness to support others
* Team player, but equally able to work off your own initiative.
* Willingness to learn and develop as the job requires.
Hours of Work:
The role is full time based on our standard 39 hours working Monday to Thursday 7.45am – 4.45pm and Friday 7.45am – 1.00pm.
The role will be paid monthly on Salary, and a reasonable number of additional hours may be required during busy periods.
