Our client is a rapidly growing precision engineering business that's recently invested heavily in brand-new CNC milling machines. They’re part of a large, privately owned engineering group with an outstanding track record of success and stability - and they’re now looking for a skilled CNC Setter who can take on more of a lead role on the shop floor.

* Salary circa £34,000
* 10% shift allowance

The Role as a CNC setter
* Set and operate a range of CNC milling machines
* Carry out tool changes, offsets and prove out programs
* Support getting new jobs up and running efficiently
* Help maintain high standards of quality and first-time pass rates
* Play a key part in improving set-up times and throughput
* Act as a go-to person for less experienced setters/operators on shift
Shifts are on a rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm basis Mon-Thu and 6am - 12pm / 12pm - 6pm on Fridays.
About You
* Has significant experience setting CNC milling machines (multi-machine experience a bonus)
* Is confident with tool changes, setting, and basic troubleshooting
* Takes pride in producing quality parts and hitting targetsEnjoys sharing knowledge and naturally takes the lead when needed
* Wants to grow with a business that is investing in its people and machinery
