We are seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our team.
The Breakfast Chef role entails:
You will be responsible for a smooth breakfast operation and for the management and quality control of service according to the guidelines set by the Head Chef.
You will be expected and invited to take part in creative opportunities to develop future dishes and menus and to bring your own ideas with you.
Understand and consistently comply with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
You also need to have a good knowledge of pastry skills and be able to produce excellent cakes, breads, pastries.
Maintain cleanliness standard for front and back of house kitchen and storage areas
Follow all HACCP guidelines stipulated in our SSOW/SOP to ensure safe food preparation and service.
Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
Handle, label, store and rotate all products properly. Minimizing waste.
Follow opening and closing checklist for all kitchen stations. Guide others in following the correct kitchen processes.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the head chef or manager-on-duty.
