About the Role One of my lcal government clients is seeking a skilled and proactive Legal Administrator to join their Property Legal Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal professional with a background in property law, conveyancing, or residential transactions to contribute to the council’s important Buy Back 50 Project. You’ll play a key role in supporting the acquisition and management of residential properties, ensuring that all legal processes and documentation are handled efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities * Draft and prepare legal documentation including Agreements and Deeds of Surrender. * Manage property files from initiation through to completion. * Complete and submit SDLT and HM Land Registry applications. * Support a range of property and residential transactions, including Right to Buy matters. * Liaise with internal departments, external solicitors, and other stakeholders to progress matters efficiently. * Ensure compliance with local authority and regulatory requirements throughout the process. About You We’re looking for a candidate who can demonstrate: * Previous experience as a Legal Administrator, Paralegal, or Legal Assistant within property law or conveyancing. * Strong drafting skills and familiarity with property transaction documentation. * Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities. * A proactive, professional approach with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. * Strong communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders.
