Job Summary
Protyre Autocare is looking for a commercially minded Truck Centre Manager to deliver the company business objectives through effective management and co-ordination of the Centre, whilst ensuring a high level of customer service, centre standards and taking a leading role dealing with customers.
1. Location: Based in Poole, callouts as required
2. Must have: Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)
3. Package: £42,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Signing on Bonus (*) OTE up to £65K + Overtime + Callouts

About the role:
5. Manage the Centre efficiently and effectively ensuring high standards are maintained.
6. Maintain Health & Safety compliance in all areas of responsibility.
7. Maintain the security of the branch, its stock, assets, customer information, and takings.
8. Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.
9. Maintain accurate stock control systems and processes and make available for audit in accordance with company guidelines.
10. Ensure that equipment and machinery is regularly maintained and serviced to allow safe operation.
11. Ensure appropriate stock profiles are maintained, reduce availability including old tyre patterns / slow moving / non-stock items are returned to suppliers / the warehouse.
12. Ensure stock deliveries are stored and booked into stock on the day of delivery and regular auditing is carried out.
13. The overall responsibility for maintaining and improving the technical, fitting standards, and quality of workmanship in the centre.

About you:
14. Proven success as an Automotive Centre Manager or Assistant Centre Manager
15. Technical or Mechanical experience, ideally a high level of understanding of car technology
16. Working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety requirements
17. Outstanding customer service skills
18. Experience of account management
19. Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships across the business
20. Commercial awareness to maximize business opportunities
