Job Title: 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant Location: Bournemouth Agency: Teaching Personnel Start Date: April 2026 Contract: Full Time Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience) About the Role Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a strong and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis within a welcoming mainstream primary school in Bournemouth. This role is starting April 2026 and will be full time until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue beyond. The successful candidate will be supporting a child with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to remain engaged in learning, regulate their emotions, and build confidence within the classroom environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is calm, resilient, and passionate about making a real difference to a child’s educational experience.
