Scheme Manager (Part Time)

We have an opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join our Sanctuary Independent Living Service (SILS) division. The Scheme Manager is an essential role within the team. Working from an office based at the scheme, managing the building and residents. You would be part of a team of 12 Scheme Managers located in the South West reporting to a Housing Officer who works remotely. As first point of contact you would encourage residents to maintain their well being and independence and to support the delivery of high quality, safe and value for money housing management services that meet customer and organisational objectives.
Completing compliance testing with fire, water and health and safety legislation and scheme inspections and risk assessments. Reporting communal area repairs and monitoring the work to completion. Ensuring the delivery of high quality customer service resolving problems and complaints or escalating issues to the Housing Officer.

Promoting
resident involvement and providing information about local community groups and facilities

Meeting all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing services activities to ensure clean and safe homes for the Group's customers, including undertaking compliance testing, risk assessments and scheme inspections and ensuring faults are reported and monitored

Effectively managing relationships with key stakeholders, service providers including contractors and residents, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately

Coordinating the delivery of local services in accordance with Group standards and lease obligations, and monitor contractor performance, take appropriate action and escalate more complex issues as appropriate

Ensuring the delivery of high quality customer service by resolving problems and complaints or setting into motion the means of resolution, focussing on first contact resolution where appropriate and to refer more complex issues as necessary

Providing administrative support and assist the Housing Officer with the setting and monitoring of budgets and accounts and support effective income recovery
Skills and experiences:

Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths

Some experience of working with older people in a support capacity and understanding their individual needs or similar

Working knowledge of the key needs and services available to residents

Some experience of problem solving and implementing effective solutions, including referrals as needed
:
Ability to interpret and maintain computerised information and documentation
:
Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information
:
Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
