This is a full-time, 30-month fixed-term contract (with possibility of 6 months extension) requiring regular international travel to Malaysia for collaborative activities, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination. About the person: We seek an accomplished project management professional with the following: University degree in a relevant field such as Science, Engineering, Business Administration or Project Management. A professional project management qualification at practitioner level. Significant recent experience in managing complex projects. A demonstrable track record in successful grant writing and securing research funding. Your experience should include managing substantial research budgets, stakeholder and partner management across multiple institutions, and leading multi-disciplinary teams. Essential capabilities include using formal project management techniques and software, with evidence of managing, forecasting, and controlling budgets while understanding financial management procedures. You will have experience coordinating multi-institutional or international collaborations, combined with excellent understanding of UKRI funding mechanisms and ODA compliance requirements.
