Rate: Competitive hourly pay (dependent on shift - £12.21PH - £15.01PM
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Parcel Delivery Operatives for a busy and well-established parcel distribution company based in Kingstown, Carlisle.
You will be responsible for sorting parcels, loading/unloading vehicles, and assisting with deliveries to homes and businesses across the local area. This is a fast-paced role that requires good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sorting parcels by postcode and route
* Loading/unloading delivery vehicles
* Scanning and logging parcels into the system
* Assisting drivers where necessary
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
* You MUST have a clean DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) to be considered for this role
* Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery environment is beneficial but not essential
* Physically fit and able to lift and move parcels safely
* Good timekeeping and a positive, can-do attitude
* Reliable and able to work as part of a team
Shifts Available:
* Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available (flexibility required)
* Weekend work
* AM starts from 2pm/4am
* Back start from 4pm
* PM start from 9pm/11pm
