Senior Manager, EMEA Workplace Experience and Operations

The Role
As Senior Manager, EMEA Workplace Experience and Operations you will be responsible for aligning our Workplace with our culture and brand values, overseeing the day-to-day management of all Snowflake offices across the EMEA region, and for delivering an amazing Employee Experience.
You will be an extremely thorough self-starter with an outstanding track record in employee experience, workplace operations, and team management, always demonstrating exceptional diligence and attention to detail. You will hire, manage and mentor the Workplace Operations team across EMEA, and create a true team spirit and common purpose - establishing Workplace as a trusted partner and for delivering an exceptional employee experience. You will be highly proficient at taking the initiative to drive results with minimal supervision, be solution and customer oriented, deal with ambiguity, rapid changes in priorities and short deadlines, and have the ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, to realize results.
Reporting to the VP, Global Workplace, based in North America, you will supervise a variety of strategic and tactical workplace support functions and duties including;
1. Strategic oversight for EMEA-wide Workplace operations, employee experience, events and office improvement projects
2. Hire, manage and mentor the EMEA Workplace team
3. Ensure the smooth and continuous operation of Snowflake offices by ensuring the Workplace team implement robust cleaning, preventative maintenance, inspection, and service schedule.
4. In partnership with the Workplace Operations team in NA, track EMEA headcount forecasts and consolidate space requests to assist with the development of a strategic CRE plan.
5. Assist with capturing space needs by interfacing with local leadership, identifying and helping secure new real estate to meet the business needs
6. Support the development of budget forecasting for office opex, and identify and manage facility and service vendors
7. Manage the landlord/tenant relationship for all leased space, and relationships with MSO’s
8. Manage communication between Workplace & local leadership on all employee experience, space and event initiatives and projects.
9. Oversight for workplace operations for all EMEA offices — events, foodservice, janitorial, mail, storage, parking/ transportation, etc. and strategic management of workplace operations at all EMEA locations
10. Develop and track performance metrics for employee experience, space utilization, costs, team performance, and track appropriate KPI’s
11. In partnership with the Design/Build team, help determine space needs, design and layout and be the liaison between the occupying department leaders, finance, and the Workplace Design/ Build team
12. Coordinate and manage new office operations commissioning and decommissioning
13. Undertake frequent visits to all offices to ensure they meet our high standards
14. In partnership with the NA Security team, be responsible for physical security systems and compliance at all EMEA offices
15. Lead the ERT Program.

16. 10-15 years employee experience or workplace management experience
17. Formal training in real estate, workplace and/or facilities management
18. Leadership skills with the ability to develop and lead a diverse team of workplace professionals at all levels, and communicate with upper management.
19. Able to provide vision, solutions, education, analysis, and input for continuous improvement of the workplace team.
20. Be able to prove the necessary expertise and experience to manage a growing team in a rapidly growing organization
21. Significant people management experience - hiring, mentoring and leading - and a network of individuals that will willingly follow you in the next step in your career
22. With a positive attitude & “can-do” mentality you will be an extremely adaptable, self-starter with excellent customer service skills
23. A strategic thinker, tactical do-er, you will be equally comfortable presenting to senior executives as managing the janitorial team
24. Excellent listening skills, organizational skills, & strong communication skills with leaders & executors
25. Willing to travel as necessary, and manage employees and work performed remotely
26. Strong work ethic, commitment to quality, & proven follow-through skills
