Security Team Member – 6-Month Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a reliable, professional and approachable Security Team Member to help keep our guests, colleagues and property safe and secure.
What you’ll be doing
As part of our Security team, you will:
* Carrying out security duties to a high standard, ensuring the safety of the colleagues and estate
* Monitoring all vehicles entering and leaving the property
* Conducting regular inspections of hotel grounds and buildings, reporting any issues promptly
* Responding quickly and professionally to any security matters, always following established procedures
* Liaising with our appointed external security partners when required, including out-of-hours support
* Supporting planned preventative maintenance to help keep our facilities in excellent condition
* Assisting with some light gardening and general duties as needed
* Maintaining accurate security records and update digital task lists
* Ensuring the security office remains clean, organised and secure
* Communicating clearly across departments using radio systems where required
* Working closely with the Security Supervisor and wider team to ensure smooth operational procedures
* Providing cover and support for colleagues during periods of annual leave and sickness absence to ensure continuity of service.
This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, including early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends, ensuring minimal disruption.

Health & Safety

* Follow all Health & Safety, Fire and Security procedures
* Use PPE as required
* Adhere to COSHH and hygiene regulations where applicable
* Ensure compliance with company and statutory regulations at all times
Additional Information
* Working 5 out of 7 days including weekend and bank holidays
* 35 hours per week
* Typical Shift Patterns: 0700hrs – 1600hrs
