Barua Street Food is a pop up Indian street food restaurant bringing the streets of India to the center of Keswick. Serving small sharing dishes alongside Indian inspired cocktails and hand selected wines.
We are looking a chef who is passionate and motivated to join our small team, this role will appeal to someone who wants to try something new a little bit different.

Clean and modern kitchen.
2 x Rational combi ovens, top brand fridges etc, custom fitted kitchen, X large stainless steel blue seal hot plate.
Fully equipped off site prep kitchen.
Big tips shared equally each month! (£4.25 ph on average)
50 seater restaurant with fully licenced bar and small outside seating area during summer period.
No split shifts.
Free food provided on shift.

Duties:
Work with and alongside the Head chef.
Cook and plate up a small indian street food menu to the required standards.
Ensure that all food is prepared according to health and safety standards.
Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
Order food supplies and manage inventory from both the restaurant and off site prep unit.
Work with a positive attitude, set the right tone and support the team.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a high level professionalism.
Clean and consistent presentation.
Pay negotiable based on experience.
All necessary training provided.
Must be able to work Weekends/Bank Holidays/School Holidays
Access to reliable travel to work essential.
