Teacher of Chemistry – Morecambe
Secondary – Key Stage 3 & 4
Location: Morecambe, Lancashire
Salary: £160 - £240 per day (Dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. Minimum requirement: QTS)
Start Date: September 2025
Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of Chemistry to join a mainstream secondary school in Morecambe from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming school community with a strong focus on academic achievement and pupil development.
The Role
This is a full-time position offered on a one-year contract. The role involves teaching Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning engaging lessons in line with national curriculum standards, and assessing student progress. The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience or strong knowledge of delivering Chemistry at KS3 and KS4.

Requirements
To be considered for the role, you must:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
2. Have experience or good working knowledge of KS3 and KS4 Chemistry
3. Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom control
4. Be flexible, enthusiastic, and committed to high standards of teaching
5. Be willing to contribute to the wider school community
