The Specialist Speech and Language Therapist within our rehabilitation units at Bexhill Irvine Unit and Rye Memorial Hospital, is key in supporting our dynamic nursing and therapy workforce to achieve a 24-hour rehabilitation approach to patient care. Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent Health Professions Council - Licence to Practice Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists Completion of specialist short courses in adult acquired neurology to include: Post graduate basic dysphagia Experience Essential criteria Relevant experience at undergraduate/post graduate level To have worked under the supervision of a clinical specialist Experience of training other professionals Desirable criteria Experience of multi/interdisciplinary working Experience of using client-centred goals Patients come first at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
