We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Ward Manager to lead our Inpatient Unit (IPU) at Bradford Hospice. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll shape high-quality, person‑centred palliative and end of life care, ensuring our patients and families receive the very best support when they need it most.

What you will be doing:
- Leading, managing and inspiring the IPU nursing and multidisciplinary team
- Ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient‑centred care
- Driving excellence in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety
- Overseeing risk, incident reporting, and learning processes to promote continuous improvement
- Managing workforce planning, performance, and staff development
- Embedding a positive culture aligned to Marie Curie values
- Supporting service development and transformation across the hospice

Qualifications
- Significant management and leadership experience within a clinical setting
- Strong track record in clinical governance, risk management and incident investigation
- Experience of leading teams through change and service improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A passion for delivering compassionate, high‑quality end of life care
Contract: Full Time Permanent – 37.5 hours per week
