As the business continues to build its scientific capability, we are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support R&D activities and play a key role in the development of next-generation in-vitro diagnostic technologies.

The Role
As a Laboratory Technician, you will provide essential technical support to the scientific team, ensuring the smooth running of laboratory operations and assisting with development activities for new diagnostic products.
Working closely with scientists and engineers, you will support experiments, prepare materials and ensure laboratory equipment and processes operate efficiently within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine laboratory techniques to support IVD product development
* Prepare reagents, solutions and samples according to established protocols
* Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration
* Record experimental data accurately and maintain detailed lab notebooks
* Conduct basic tests and assays under the supervision of senior scientists
* Assist scientists with experimental setup and execution
* Follow laboratory SOPs and quality control procedures
* Maintain laboratory inventory and manage ordering of supplies
* Support compliance with ISO 13485 and quality management requirements
* Contribute to laboratory organisation and maintenance
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, technically curious and eager to contribute in a hands-on development environment.
You will likely have:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
* 1–2 years of laboratory experience (industry or academic)
* Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and equipment
* Understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
* Strong attention to detail and record-keeping
* Good communication and teamwork skills
Experience working within a regulated environment such as ISO 13485 or FDA-regulated settings would be advantageous but is not essential.
