What the teaching assistant will do:
Be punctual and professional
Communicate effectively with teachers, support staff and the children.
Support children with their education, whether that is in a 1:1 or as a class teaching assistant role.
Create a safe learning environment for children to develop socially, emotionally and academically.
Assist in monitoring pupil progress.
An eagerness to learn and develop good behaviour strategies, when assisting the class teacher.
What the teaching assistant will have:
Previous experience in schools or childcare is preferable but not essential for the right candidate
A proactive and can do attitude
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
We can provide roles in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. There are full time, part time and/or day to day opportunities to best suit your availability. The positions can be general teaching assistant work or include 1:1 opportunities within an SEN setting.
