Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
* Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
* Maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom/laboratory environment that promotes scientific inquiry, experimentation, and problem-solving.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and across the school.
* Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and resources.
* Ensure the safe and effective use of laboratory equipment and materials.
* Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
* Adhere to the school's safeguarding policies.
Qualifications
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of Physics and a commitment to providing high-quality science education. The ideal candidate will be:
* A qualified teacher (holding QTS or equivalent).
* Experienced in teaching Physics at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Physics).
* Passionate about Physics and able to inspire students of all abilities.
* An excellent classroom practitioner with strong behavior management skills.
* Committed to raising student achievement and fostering a love of science and scientific inquiry.
