Overview
Join Inspire, Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom as an Advocacy Support Worker. This regional role involves supporting people living with mental ill health, intellectual disability, autism and addictions to live with dignity, realise their full potential, and actively take part in society. You will be the first point of contact for clients, help them navigate systems, understand their rights, and make informed choices about their care and support.
This role requires travel across Northern Ireland and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate group advocacy meetings across a range of environments
* Promote Inspire's advocacy services and support client engagement
* Liaise with professionals and support teams
* Maintain accurate records, including minutes and monitoring reports
* Deliver training sessions to clients and service users
* Ensure GDPR compliance and uphold confidentiality
* Participate in team meetings, reflective practice, and service development
Essential Criteria
* Proven experience of motivating, supporting or mentoring individuals with mental health needs
* Ability to work independently and use own initiative
* Competence in Microsoft Office and online systems
* Full driving licence and access to a car (business insurance required)
* Flexibility to travel regionally and occasionally work evenings/weekends
