Are you a Hydraulic Modeller who has Tuflow and Flood Modeller experience? Would you like to join a new team and office, based in Manchester. You will have the chance to join a new team and have the chance to develop new opportunities and develop new options with new and existing clients.
\n\nCandidates are required to have a strong academic background and experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow. \n\nIt is also beneficial for applicants to reside in Manchester and have a keen interest in climate change projects, wetland restoration and managing projects and mentoring team members. \n\nTypically the role will involve varied residential, healthcare, higher education, flood alleviation, climate change and natural flood management projects for both public and private sector Clients.
\n\nYou will also be required to complete the following;\n-Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.\n-Flood risk assessments, flood consequence assessments and nutrient neutrality assessments.\n-Hydrological assessments.\n-Natural flood management, wetland management and re-wilding projects. \n-Flood risk mapping and estimation. \n-Support new team members and check technical flood risk/complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.\n-Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.\n\nThis role comes with a competitive salary, benefits package and career development.\n\nIf this role is of interest to you or if you are searching for other roles relating to Drainage Engineering/Flood Risk Assessment please do not hesitate to contact Jordanna Morris at Penguin Recruitment.
