About the Role
As a Banking Consultant in our Retail Banking, you’ll play a key role in helping customers by providing a seamless banking experience. This includes meeting each customer’s financial needs and goals through transaction activities, needs-based conversations, and educating them on available financial solutions, including digital options. The role requires completing customer transactions, engaging in in-depth needs-based conversations, and fulfilling products as per accreditation level. It is mainly based in branches, delivering high standards of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and advocacy.
You will be part of a collaborative team, acting as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best customer experience. Your passion for customer service will help ensure customers leave the branch as strong advocates for ANZ.

Role Type: Permanent, Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Weekly Schedule:
* Tuesday: 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM
* Wednesday: 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM
* Thursday: 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM
* Friday: 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Total Weekly Hours: 20.00 hours
What will your day look like?
As a Banking Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing customers with a seamless branch experience by addressing their banking needs and educating them on digital solutions,
* Being a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team,
* Enhancing customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value,
* Supporting bank programs and initiatives,
* Understanding and managing customer risk ('know your customer'),
* Ensuring compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
What will you bring?
To succeed, you should ideally possess:
* Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is an advantage,
* Experience with digital channels and technology promotion,
* Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity,
* Willingness to work collaboratively,
* Sound understanding of compliance,
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
