The School of Creative Performance and Production at the University of Winchester is currently seeking a Lecturer in Games Design and Development. The successful candidate will be joining a School which sits within a Faculty of Education and Arts and celebrates the power of creativity and collaboration to transform lives. We enable our students through creative approaches to learning informed by real-world contexts. We have strong relationships with industry and the wider community.
The ideal candidate will have teaching experience in Games Design and Development and related areas at UG level and expertise in games-specific software. There will be an opportunity to contribute to the vision for the future provision of the School. The post-holder will be an excellent communicator and be a team-player.
An interest in, and a capacity for, maintaining a network of industry contacts is desirable as well as a commitment to the successful employability of our students. Experience of leadership at module level and a willingness to take on leadership responsibility at Programme level is desirable.
