Business Analyst - Remote Working - Inside IR35
Our client, a global consultancy, are currently looking to hire a Business Analyst with Regulatory/Financial Regulations experience to join the team on a largely remote working contract basis. The role may include rare adhoc travel.
This role will be working on a Pensions Platform project, as the ideal candidate you will have experience working on technical business change projects for large, complex programmes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Gathering - Establish, validate, and document business requirements from and for project stakeholders against the clear objectives articulated for the project.
2. Process Modelling - Develop and maintain documentation related to business processes and procedures ensuring compliance with the Business Analysis Framework. Work with teams across the business to map processes and controls, support the identification of areas of improvement and articulate requirements to drive change and deliver improvements.
3. Business Analysis - Collaborate with operational, project and IT teams to identify solutions to business processes and problems. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Conduct testing to ensure that the solution meets business requirements. Support testers with the design of tests and query resolution arising from testing including defect management.
4. Facilitation - Facilitate workshops ensuring inclusion and collaborative engagement between departments, clients, and suppliers.
5. Stakeholder Management and Engagement - Lead the liaison with internal and external stakeholders to obtain requirements.

6. Proven experience in a Business Analysis role
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
9. Basic experience with data mapping techniques
10. Proficiency Process Modelling tools, Visio, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
11. Knowledge of business process modelling techniques, such as BPMN
12. Support the iterative development of solution options, taking direction where applicable.
13. Familiarity with project delivery methodologies and tools.
14. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage their delivery in a project.
15. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
16. Familiarity with software development methodologies.
