Job Title: Stock Condition Surveyor
Team: Asset Management
We are looking for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join our Assets Team to undertake stock condition surveys and energy assessments to the housing stock. Reporting to the Housing Stock Quality Manager, you will undertake an annual programme of surveys to provide stock condition and energy efficiency data to inform the capital investment programme. The scope of the surveys includes the housing stock, communal areas, neighbourhoods and garages.
You will need a good understanding of residential buildings, different construction types, common faults, remedies, and component life cycles. You’ll also have a good understanding of energy efficiency, heat losses and remedies. You’ll have an eye for detail to ensure survey data is accurate and need to be capable of undertaking property surveys and have transport to enable you to get out and about in the borough.

Responsibilities
* Undertake stock condition surveys and energy assessments to inform the capital investment programme.
* Deliver an annual survey programme covering the housing stock, communal areas, neighbourhoods and garages.
* Analyse survey findings and accurately record data on asset components, life cycles and energy efficiency measures.
Qualifications / Skills
* Good understanding of residential buildings, construction types, common faults, remedies and component life cycles.
* Strong knowledge of energy efficiency principles, heat losses and remedial measures.
* Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate survey data.
* Ability to undertake property surveys and access to transport to cover borough locations.
