About The Role
MGroup Transport (Aviation) are seeking a Project Engineer to join their maintenance team. They are excited to present this new opportunity for a talented Civil Engineer who is looking to be involved on a variety of challenging engineering projects.
What will you be doing?
1. Provide technical services for a range of construction related disciplines, and activities
2. Focused on delivering great service everyday supporting their clients’ primary assets to enable an extraordinary airport, fit for the future
3. Based out of their Heathrow Office and is suitable for an existing Engineer or experienced Supervisor looking to progress their career to the next level
4. Supporting the Maintenance team and Site Managers with expertise
5. Managing and developing a reactive team in the quality and timely maintenance delivery for a variety of civil and infrastructure assets
6. Ensure workflow runs smoothly and standard processes are followed by the team
7. Review outputs for quality-controlled documentation, track performance, and manage software
8. Ensuring excellent safety, standards and quality are maintained throughout the life cycle of the project
About You
What you’ll bring:
9. Site experience
10. Knowledge of the requirements of Health and Safety and Environmental Standards
11. Proven capability in delivering technical packages on civil engineering schemes
12. Proficient in the use of setting out instruments
13. A desire to progress career by gaining a professional qualification with ICE
14. Demonstrate MGroup Transport (Aviation) values and behaviours
15. Good grasp of commercial responsibilities
16. High standard of presentation skills
17. Excellent attention to detail
18. Ability to interpret scopes, technical information and drawings
19. Good communications skills and ability to work well with other teams and departments at all levels both internally and externally, including client liaison
20. Excellent data management and Quality Control
21. Keep up to date with legislations and current industry standards
22. SMSTS or equivalent Site Management Training
23. Holder of CSCS accreditation
24. Full UK driving license
25. 5yr Traceable employment
Desirable:
26. Understanding of PAS128 requirements and of other industry standards
27. Experience in the analysis of GPR data
28. Previous experience in a management role
29. Level 3 QCF Certificate in Utility Mapping and Surveying
30. Experience working within engineering and aviation sector
