Project Manager - Infrastructure
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
What you will be doing:
As Project Manager you will take full responsibility for ensuring works are executed safely, within programme and to the highest quality standards. This role will lead the team on delivery and mobilisation of a new highways scheme in Sheffield city centre as part of the Transforming Cities Fund (TCF). The scheme aims to deliver multi‑modal transport facilities with a focus on walking, cycling, reduced traffic flow, and environmental benefits.
* Create and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with CDM and all relevant legislation.
* Lead the planning, preparation, and delivery of the scheme throughout the full project lifecycle.
* Manage design engagement and collaborative workshops to achieve safe, buildable and efficient solutions.
* Select, onboard and lead high‑performing project teams and supply chain partners.
* Oversee commercial performance, managing cost, risk, change and profitability.
* Establish and manage site set up, temporary works and regulatory compliance prior to commencement.
* Drive innovation, continuous improvement and performance reporting.
* Lead, motivate and develop teams to ensure high‑quality delivery to programme, budget and scope.
