Job overview
Position: Full-time SEND Practitioner
Contract Terms: Permanent
Position Type: Learning Support
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and compassionate Practitioner to join a hardworking and dedicated team within a high achieving and oversubscribed Catholic Voluntary Academy.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

This is a newly created role and as such provides a fresh and exciting opportunity for an engaging and self-motivated individual.
If you are keen to make a difference working with young people, coupled with the drive and commitment required to be an excellent member of our team, then we would like to hear from you.
What are we looking for?
* Someone with the ability to provide consistent professional standards regarding work and behaviour.
* A colleague who is able to engage constructively with, and relate to, a wide range of young people with different SEND needs and social backgrounds
* A colleague who has the ability to challenge and motivate students, promoting and reinforcing their self-esteem
* Someone with the ability to work in a positive and flexible way.
What can we offer you?
* Employee discount scheme (offering cycle to work scheme, gym membership, money saving offers across hundreds of the UK's favourite high-street and online retailers, home and electrical items).
* Access to our Employee Assistance Programme (Education Support).
* On-site parking and access to canteen.
* Local Government Pension Scheme.
* A supportive organisation with the commitment to professional development and wellbeing.
