Overview:
Kerry Robert Associates is representing a key financial services client seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial / Management Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified professional looking to build on their experience and take the next step in a fast-paced, forward-thinking business. You will play a key role in preparing accurate and insightful financial information, supporting system implementation, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
2. Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements and manage external audit processes.
3. Support the completion and submission of VAT returns, Corporation Tax filings, and P11Ds.
4. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and board reports.
5. Maintain robust financial records and ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
6. Play a key role in the implementation and optimisation of Sage Intacct.
7. Collaborate with internal teams and liaise with external stakeholders, including funders.
You
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems, especially Sage.
* Solid understanding of IFRS and FRS 102 reporting standards.
* High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a changing environment.
* Self-starter with excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Flexible and eager to contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
