*Duties*
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient utilisation of resources
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
* Develop new recipes and improve existing menu items to enhance customer satisfaction
* Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and optimise costs
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
* Ensure all food presentation meets organisational standards for visual appeal and quality
*Experience*
* Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
* Extensive background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
* Previous experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
* Experience in serving customers directly or managing front-of-house activities is advantageous
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
