£50,861 - £59,159 per annum

Join our dedicated Pharmacy & Medicines team and play a key role in delivering high-quality services within the GI, Renal, Liver, Transplant and Vascular (GIRLTV) pharmacy team.
About the Role
The postholder will:
1. work alongside the vascular surgery team, where pharmacists have an established non-medical prescribing role
2. work closely with members of the multidisciplinary teams to provide high quality patient care
3. have valued input into the daily consultant led ward rounds.
4. work with the pharmacy team delivering clinical pharmacy services to GIRLTV specialties. Clinical specialties seen within GIRLTV include: Gastrointestinal and Renal Medicine, Hepatology, Liver and Renal Transplant, Vascular and General Surgery.
5. contribute to the development and delivery of the clinical pharmacy service in the face of emerging challenges around site capacity and patient flow.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist with a passion for delivering exceptional clinical care.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
6. A Master of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent).
7. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
8. Completed training or equivalent competence mapped to the
Skills and Attributes:
9. Experience in proactively influencing prescribing, using clinical knowledge to optimise patient care.
10. A strong patient-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
11. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making in an acute medical setting.
12. A proactive attitude, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. Please note that the pay scale in this advert will not be changing as a result.
