Responsibilities : As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will include: Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils identified as having SEN needs. Support students in managing emotions, building resilience, and developing appropriate social skills. Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons and resources to suit individual pupils. Modify and adapt learning resources and materials to suit the pupils ability level. Encourage positive behaviour and promote a calm, supportive classroom environment. Act as a key adult for pupils, building trusting relationships and offering consistent emotional support. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and relevant professionals. Provide feedback to the teacher on pupil progress, engagement, and challenges.
