This role is responsible for providing data, reporting, analysis and insights for the Commercial, Operational and Commercial Finance teams. The candidate will need to be able to understand complex requirements and work with stakeholders, determining optimal solutions to support the growth of the business. This position will be key to providing the business with data and analysis to drive improvements and recommendations. Main Duties and Responsibilities Provide robust and timely data and MI to support pricing decisions across the business. Create, validate, and analyse procurement and operational data to optimise strategies. Support the Transformation team with business initiative data and analysis. Run and enhance existing reports such as the supplier rebates tracker. Develop and automate new data and reporting dashboards Identify and overcome data deficiencies and gaps Assist users to interpret and utilise data and MI solutions Investigate issues raised by end-users and develop fixes within required timescales Analyse and produce meaningful data from multiple complex data sources Develop and maintain customer performance and profitability models and analysis. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on financial variations versus forecast. Support the development of budgeting/forecasting processes Provide variance analysis vs. budget/forecast across all business channels. Skills & Experience Required: Finance, economics, computing or mathematics degree essential. Min (2.1) Professional financial qualification desirable but not essential. Previous experience of working in a finance function (minimum 3 years) with a thorough understanding of P&L components, cost drivers and revenue streams. Experience of working with big data and combining data from multiple sources. Advanced Excel and data modelling skills is essential. Access/SQL/Power BI essential Business acumen and commercial skills are essential. Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasked and multi-channel environment. Outstanding communication skills both verbally and in writing Skills in business partnering, relationship building, influencing, and negotiating are essential.
