Application Engineer - Southampton
I am currently recruiting for an Application Engineer on behalf of a highly innovative, market‑leading company based in Southampton. The business develops cutting‑edge technology used across a wide range of sectors, including automotive, medical, consumer, and industrial markets.
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. You will play a key part in bridging the gap between technical development and customer engagement, working across multiple areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to the sales team
* Develop proof of concept solutions for new products
* Troubleshoot and support customers with technical issues
* Contribute across various stages of the product and customer lifecycle
Requirements:
* Degree (or equivalent international qualification) in a STEM discipline
* Customer‑facing or technical support experience (or a strong interest in moving into this area)
* Hands‑on experience with electronic circuit design and debugging
* Previous application support experience is desirable
Location: Southampton (on‑site)
Salary: Up to £65,000
