Berlin | Relocation Package We are currently staffing a Senior Software Engineer role a gaming marketplace startup in Berlin. In this role, you will be the most senior in a team of 4 top software engineers. You will lead architectural decisions and drive the transition to an event-driven design & infrastructure. You will author and review roadmaps, manage the backlog, coach the team and have fun while coding yourself:) You should have strong experience working on event-driven systems (Kafka, Redis, etc.) and with Node.js backends. Additionally, it would help if you had prior experience with payment processing (Stripe Connect, Adyen, etc.) and GraphQl-based API handling. | COMPANY Today, virtual gaming economies are either highly encapsulated or wholly cut off from each other, with game players unable to transfer (or sell) values between their virtual identities on the different gaming platforms. This problem is solved by this company as they build a marketplace for digital gaming collectables, a place where players can exchange assets from the games they are playing. They are currently a small team of 3 plus 3 freelancers. The founder is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in the gaming industry. | REMOTE WORK POLICY This hybrid remote role is based in Berlin (2-3 days).
